The cooperation of the Prosecutor's Office and relevant officials in ensuring ecological stability in Fergana was summarized

A press conference was held at the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Fergana region with the participation of media representatives, journalists, and bloggers. The main topic of the event was dedicated to the analysis of systematic work and future plans implemented in cooperation with the regional prosecutor's office during the first five months of 2026.

As emphasized at the conference, during the reporting period, numerous raid activities were carried out in the region to ensure the enforcement of environmental legislation, identify and eliminate damage caused to nature. In particular, as a result of close cooperation with the prosecutor's office, strict measures were taken against violations related to illegal logging, improper use of land resources, and dumping of waste in unauthorized areas.

The event was attended by Ulugbek Nishonov, head of a department of the regional prosecutor's office, who addressed future tasks. According to the official, future cooperation will not be limited to applying punitive measures but will also focus on preventive work – the prevention of offenses.

During the dialogue, journalists and public activists put forward a number of proposals and initiatives for the development of the sector. It was emphasized that each opinion would be thoroughly studied and practically supported.
