A MOMENT OF PLEASURE — A LIFETIME OF REGRET!

On May 7 of this year, a promotional event was held in the building of the Margilan city department of the Cadastre Agency, aimed at explaining the consequences of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, the legal liability measures, as well as preventing road accidents, complying with traffic rules, and improving the legal culture of citizens.

The event participants were given detailed explanations that ensuring road safety is one of the most pressing issues today, that there are still cases of drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol, which leads to numerous road accidents, and that penalties for such administrative offenses and criminal liabilities have been strengthened. In particular, comprehensive clarifications were provided regarding the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1033 of February 20, 2025, "On introducing additions and amendments to the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Code of Administrative Liability of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the road safety system."
